| Artwork Submission
General Information
High quality imprinting requires high quality artwork. Artwork requirements vary depending on the product to be imprinted and imprinting process used. To insure your satisfaction we strongly recommend submitting artwork in vector graphic format. Vector graphics provide superior reproduction quality and allow resizing without loss of sharpness or detail.
Raster graphics (gifs & jpgs), do not reproduce well when resized and often require substantial cleanup and correction before they are camera-ready. However, they are occasionally suitable for use if submitted in the actual size and resolution equired for some products.
Please note that artwork which is not camera-ready will require modification by our graphic artists or it may produce results which differ from your expectations. The term "camera-ready" refers to artwork in a format and resolution ready for use in the type of imprinting process requested.
We provide every client with a sample of the completed artwork which must be signed off in writing prior to moving ahead with production, subject to the terms of payment.
Preferred Artwork Formats
Vector files: We prefer digital artwork files created with Adobe's Illustrator, submitted by e-mailed as an attachment (zipped files) to our Graphics Department, or in the case of files larger than 10MB, uploaded to our FTP site. Please remove any embedded or linked raster images and submit them (actual size @ 100 dpi, CMYK/8bit mode) along with the vector file. All text must be converted to paths, curves or outlines.
Acceptable Artwork Formats
We accept EPS vector files and raster files as native
PSD or TIFF. ( Note: For color correction, provide native PSD file with layers. Do not flatten). Submit vector formats: EPS or AI with all text converted to outlines. These files are created using graphics applications such as Adobe's Photoshop & illustrator.
Unacceptable Artwork Formats
We cannot use any of the following: faxes, copies of faxes, photocopies, photographs (except for use creating heat transfers), slides, transparencies, negative stats or films that must be reversed, halftone art that needs to be resized, low resolution laser printed artwork of less than 300 dpi, letterhead, business cards, actual product or any other art that needs to be touched up, color separated or made one color. Text files from word processing documents cannot be used (including PowerPoint, WordPerfect, or Window Metafiles).
Files submitted in any of these formats may be used by our graphic artist as a reference only in the creation of a suitable vector art file. Please contact us to confirm usability and to obtain an artwork fee estimate
